General Questions

  • We offer several packages and additional add-on services that you can pick and choose from to create a custom detail package that meets your vehicle’s specific needs. Check out our auto detail services menu here for a description of the services we offer and rates.

  • We accept all major credit cards, contactless payments through Cash App, and cash. We do not accept any form of a check.

  • In order to better serve you, all our detail services are by appointment only. Appointments can be made by contacting us by phone at (224)-329-1824 or via email at info@scottysdetailcenter.com.

  • This depends on your scheduled appointment time, level of service requested, and the condition of your vehicle when we receive it. More often than not, for appointment times scheduled before 3:00pm, detail services are completed the same day. For appointment times scheduled after 4:00pm, detail services are not likely to be completed the same day. Please plan to leave your vehicle overnight at our facility.

  • We have 2 facilites. Our truck and fleet vehicle center is located in Elmhurst. Personal cars, rental cars, and construction fleet vehicles are detailed at our Lombard location.

  • We are open Monday - Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am – 5:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays.

  • We ask that car seats are removed prior to your detail appointment so we can clean behind them, however, for car seats that are not removed, we will remove them during the detail service so we can clean behind them. For liability and safety reasons, we will not re-install car seats once the detail service has been completed as our detail technicians are not trained to properly install car seats.

  • While you don’t need to tip your detail technician (we compensate them assuming no tips), it’s a nice thing to do. If you’d like to leave a tip for your detail technician, you have the option to add a tip during checkout on your credit card, or of course, tip in cash.
